Tim Garner graduated from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama in May, 1987, and received his license to practice law in Alabama in September, 1987. He practiced law in Dadeville and Alexander City, Alabama in Tallapoosa County from September, 1987, until he moved his practice to Gulf Shores in September, 1995.

Tim focuses on real estate law, corporate law, condominium law, and banking law, and he is co-owner and President of Attorneys Title, Inc., a title company in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Tim’s practice consists primarily of commercial and residential real estate development, real estate closings, title insurance, corporate and real estate litigation, Section 1031 tax deferred exchanges, condominium and homeowner associations, contract negotiation and preparation, business purchases, foreclosures, and buyer, seller, corporate and lender representation.

Tim is local counsel for Mississippi Valley Title Insurance Company, and handles title claims and other title insurance matters in Baldwin County. Tim is corporate counsel for the Gulf Shores Airport Authority, and Heritage First Bank of Alabama. Tim is also a current sitting member on the Board of Directors of Heritage First Bank of Alabama. Most of Tim’s clients are real estate developers, contractors, realtors, lenders, and business owners.

In the past twenty years, Tim has provided litigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and other attorney services for most every local and regional lender. Tim has also closed or otherwise been involved with the closing of numerous real estate closings and other transactions, including commercial, residential, SBA, FHA, VA, development, construction, acquisition, refinance, and other lender transactions of most every type.

All closings are insured and underwritten by Mississippi Valley Title Insurance Company (Old Republic), and Tim has been an approved title agent and writing title insurance for Mississippi Valley since 1988. All title abstracting and other matters related to the closings are supervised by Tim, and if requested, he will prepare mortgages and other lender documents.
